The Barnyard Buddies 4-H Club is a Livestock club that meets the 4th Tuesday at the Belleplain Fire hall. Our members enjoy working with an assortment of livestock as well as participating in extracurricular activities and community service. We are always looking for new members to join in the fun. This year our club gathered snacks for the “Snacks for Schools” program at Dennis Township School. We had our traditional Thanksgiving dinner and wrote cards for our troops and 4-H supporters. We collected canned goods for the food bank, and held our Christmas party at the Mouse Trap Bowling Alley. As public presentations rolled around, we began to prepare with mock topics. In the spring, our club sponsored a hog clinic to prepare 4-H’ers on the basics of hog facts and terminology. Prior to Fair, we helped to clean up the fairgrounds and spruced up our club garden.
Look for our members at this years’ 4-H Fair back in the livestock barn or take a rest on one of our garden benches. Come join the fun with Sam, Tommy, Raegan, Ryan, Rowan, Tegan, Skylar, and Payton.
