Avalon Lions Answer Panthers’ Call

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – Middle Township High School students learn a variety of lessons in the classroom but the rewards of helping others are taught through the school’s Interact Club.
According to a release, the Avalon Lions Club shares that mission and this month offered $1,000 to the students in a show of mutual support.
The high school club has been helping charitable causes in Cape May County for several years.
Members want to establish a toiletries pantry for needy students and their families and a program to provide snacks for school athletic teams traveling to away games.
Avalon Lions President Sue White stated, “When it comes to helping others, you can never start too early.” She thanked the students for their work in the community.
