Avalon Historical Society’s 2nd Miniature Golf Tournament of 2017 Held Aug. 8

AVALON — The officers and trustees of the Avalon Historical Society held their second Miniature Golf Competition of the year on Aug. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Go Fish Course in Avalon.
Winners for “Best Score” children category were Harrison Perry and Kevin Bernhard, adult category best score winners were K. Bernhard, Ricky Meister and Arnie Schneider. Winners for “Most Holes in One” children category were Maddie and Ellie Dher, Kevin Bernhard, Preston, Riley and William Hoffman, adult category most holes in one Ricky Meister and Taimur Sajed.
Chair, Rose Marie Chew thanks the girls at Go Fish Miniature Golf for their support of this event and donating all the proceeds to the Avalon Historical Society. Thank you also to the businesses who gave gift certificates: Avalon Freeze, Avalon 29th Street Deli, Bonnie’s Toppings, Brian’s Waffle House, Seven Mile Sweets, Sundae Best Ice Cream Parlor and Uncle Bill’s Pancake House.
