Prof. Hart, who is currently a professor of mechanical engineering at Lehigh University, will be discussing experiences as a former astronaut, his work at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and his flights in space. Hart will also be available after the lecture to sign autographs and answer guests’ questions. The lecture series is presented in memory of Cape May County resident and World War II Naval Airman Curtis Napier.
Hart’s presentation will also mark the opening of a new exhibit at NASW. The museum will be unveiling a mock-up of a space shuttle which visitors can enter and view video clips and images involving the history of space exploration. NASW recently acquired an exhibit on the Unites States Overseas Airline, which opened on July 2nd.
