The AMI Foundation’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van will visit 12 locations in four counties in November. The schedule is as follows:

Nov. 8 – Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Atlantic City
Nov. 12 – Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Atlantic City
Nov. 13 – Southern Jersey Family Medicine, Atlantic City
Nov. 15 – Southern Jersey Family Medicine, Hammonton
Nov. 16 – ShopRite, Hammonton
Nov. 21 – Galloway Senior Center, Egg Harbor City
Nov. 28 – Atlantic County Health Services, Northfield
Camden County
Nov. 10 – Bethany Baptist Church, Lindenwold
Cape May County
Nov. 9 – Sea Isle Recreation Center, Sea Isle City
Ocean County
Nov. 2 – LBI Health Dept. (St. Francis Community Center), Long Beach Island
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. A prescription may not be needed. Please call the scheduling department at (609) 677-XRAY (9729) to make an appointment and to confirm hours of operation for specific locations.
The screenings are for women 40+ with no current or past breast issues.
The AMI Foundation’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van travels throughout southeastern New Jersey to make breast cancer screening easier and more convenient. The custom-built, 38-foot van is completely self-contained. In addition to offering the latest digital mammography equipment, the van provides a comfortable waiting area and a private dressing room.
The mobile van’s radiology services are accredited by the American College of Radiology and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Mammography images are read by board-certified fellowship trained radiologists at Atlantic Medical Imaging.
