AMI Foundation Announces Mobile Mammography Van Schedule for May

Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van to visit 16 locations in five New Jersey counties in May.
The AMI Foundation’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van will visit 16 locations in five New Jersey counties in May. The May 2017 schedule is as follows:

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. A prescription is not needed. Please call the scheduling department at 609-677-XRAY (9729) to make an appointment and to confirm hours of operation for specific locations.
The screenings are for uninsured women 40+ with no current or past breast issues. Screenings for insured women are processed through their insurance.
The AMI Foundation’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van travels throughout southeastern New Jersey to make breast cancer screening easier and more convenient. The custom-built, 38-foot van is completely self-contained. In addition to offering the latest digital mammography equipment, the van provides a comfortable waiting area and a private dressing room.
The mobile van’s radiology services are accredited by the American College of Radiology and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Mammography images are read by board-certified fellowship trained radiologists at Atlantic Medical Imaging.
