Additional Paper Shredding Day Scheduled for Oct. 15

By Press Release

OCEAN CITY – Due to the overwhelming response to the paper-shredding event Oct. 8, the truck will return Oct. 15 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Shelter Road Recycling Center.
Ocean City residents filled the truck by 11:30 a.m. with just over 9,000 lbs of paper. The additional service is scheduled to accommodate the number of residents who were turned away and to shred paper that was left at the site.
This event is free to residents and property owners in Ocean City. Please bring a driver’s license or other proof of residency/home ownership.
Paper Shredding:

  • Paper only; paper clips and staples acceptable.
  • Paper shredding by a highly secure, mobile shredding unit.
