2U, Don’t Call Me Francis to Perform at Centennial Park

WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series at Centennial Park will include an additional show this weekend.
2U, billed as the World’s Second-Best U2 Show, will perform Aug. 18, at 7:30 p.m. The band was originally scheduled to play in the Crest July 29 but the show was postponed by rain.
Don’t Call Me Francis, one of the top dance/party bands in the Delaware Valley, will perform Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
All Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series shows are free and open to all ages. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.
CentennialPark is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
2U has appeared at theaters, state and county fairs, summer music series and festivals all over the world for the past 20 years. The band regularly performs many of the top hits of U2, one of the most popular and recognizable rocks bands of all-time. Their appearance in the Crest is especially poignant this summer, with U2 having embarked on a world tour this year.

Don’t Call Me Francis is one of the most popular and most requested party bands in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area. For 15 consecutive years, the group was voted the Best Band in South Jersey and the Delaware Valley by the Courier-Post newspaper’s Readers Choice Awards. Don’t Call Me Francis regularly performs many of the top dance and party hits from the 1960s through today.

The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series is hosted by the Wildwood Crest Recreation and Tourism Department and supported by the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission and includes shows each Wednesday through Aug. 30 and each Saturday through Sept. 16.
Other upcoming entertainment includes oldies, Motown and Doo Wop with the Star Band Aug. 23; the hits of Bruce Springsteen with the B Street Band Aug. 26; and dance, party and funk with Stellar Mojo Aug. 30.
