The ALWAYS READY 5K is the annual race event presented by the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation taking place on Saturday, October 12th. This unique event starts and finishes at Harbor View Park, flows along the Cape May Harbor, and allows the opportunity to travel through U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May.

Last year we included our 4-legged friends with the Always Ready K9 3K in partnership with Blue Line K-9. We are thrilled to welcome back our furry friends for the second year and thankful for our Event Partner Blue Line K-9. The Always Ready 5K / K9 gathers our Coast Guard Service Members, local community, and race participants from Cape May County and beyond.

We are also thankful to our returning Event Partner, Cape May Brewing Co. who will provide adult participants with an after-run Always Ready Pale Ale, Cape May Brewing Company’s beer that honors and salutes the Coast Guard community.

The Foundation is offering multiple levels of sponsorship to join our pack. Race Registrations are open, volunteers are needed, and sponsorships are available on our website here www.coastguardcommunity.org/always-ready-5k To top it off our Registration Giveaway Sponsor, Burke Motor Group is giving the first 100 registrants a one-of-a-kind branded tumbler. Register now before they are gone!

Please join us for this unique event where our community rallies in support of our Coast Guard and gathers to celebrate our amazing Coast Guard Community.
