Calvary Chapel Supports the Grieving With a 13-Week Support Group

From Calvary Chapel Cape May

What: A 13-week support group for those experiencing intense grief and sorrow

When: Starting Jan. 26, every Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Calvary Chapel, 596 Seashore Road, Erma

Calvary Chapel in Erma welcomes anyone in the community who deals with intense grief and mourning to attend a “GriefShare” support group, a safe, welcoming space where people understand and process the difficult emotions that come with grief.

Through this 13-week group, you will discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

At this 13-week group, you will hear insight from grief recovery experts, meet others who understand what you are going through, receive comfort and support, learn practical tips for navigating your grief, and discover the “six signs of healing.”

Each week is broken up into three parts: a video seminar, a group discussion and gathering, and a time to work in your personal workbook.
