Avalon Launches Free Consumer Water Portal

From the Borough of Avalon

The Borough of Avalon has launched a new free consumer water portal that will allow property owners to track water use at their Avalon properties 24 hours a day. The portal is a result of a recent upgrade of municipal water meters that provide highly accurate readings on water use and helps property owners recognize potential water usage and leaks at their properties throughout the year.

“This new consumer water portal is intuitive, easy to use, and allows property owners to detect any potential leaks of water services at their properties during cold winter months,” said Avalon Mayor John McCorristin. “This portal is the final piece of a planned upgrade of our water meter replacement program and comes at a time when temperatures are starting to get cold and property owners may experience unfortunate water leaks due to frozen pipes.”

The url for the consumer water portal is avalon.my360-app.com and can be found on the front page of the municipal website, avalonboro.net, and on the Tax and Water Utility page on the website. The app is accessible from any computer, tablet, or mobile device and is free for the property owner to use.  Property owners may monitor multiple properties from one account and set up special alerts to monitor consumption and detect potential leaks. Property owners may also set a water budget to help save water and eliminate surprises in their water bills.

The Borough has provided step by step videos on how to register for the portal and establish the free account. The free consumer water portal follows the Borough’s replacement of all water meters with new digital water meters that are highly accurate with tracking customer water usage.
