Why isn't Chief Stanford participating in the discussion with CFO? Why isn't he standing at council meetings defending his department? Could it be that he knew that this idea of his paid department would lead to the need/requirement of a paid Chief position offering him yet another pension? Meanwhile this idea of his - promoted and approved by council - is bleeding the town dry!!! Remember the fire department also refuses to present their financial records to the borough or anyone else for that matter for review!
