That sermon on Aug 6 was an out of touch pile of nonsense. Have you had a meaningful conversation with anyone younger than 30 in the lower or middle class? No healthcare, no jobs, no housing, no adequate public transportation, cost of living rising out of control, no rights, women’s healthcare becoming impossible to get (places that offered low cost breast cancer screenings and Pap smears are shut down), climate change, environmental protections and consumer protections thrown away, rural hospitals closing, the Department of Education closing, and PBS shut down. So encouraging!
