Sea Isle has laws on the books that require covers on dumpsters and commercial trash vehicles, yet those laws aren’t enforced, emphasized or prioritized by city officials. It’s not only ridiculous how trash trucks contribute to so much of the litter on Sea Isle Boulevard, which is an eyesore and degrading to our beautiful wetlands, but also dangerous when you’re driving behind those trucks and debris is flying out of it. Is it laziness, unprofessionalism or plain willful negligence? Please enforce the cover requirement before someone gets hurt in a serious accident.
