Cape May looses guards returning to college and closes 8 beaches on a weekend busier than the Fourth of July. Verified by the tagger on my beach without any guards. My question is why aren’t some of the many lieutenants put on the lifeguard stands? Are they there to just ride the many vehicles provided by the city?
