Winery Application to be Heard Feb. 27

PETERSBURG – On the Jan. 19 Upper Township Planning Board agenda was an item regarding the “OC Winery SSAMP (Site-Specific Agricultural Management Practices Plan).”   

In a follow-up with Municipal Engineer Paul Dietrich, who is designated as a professional member and representative of the board, it was learned that the issue was before the board as an informational courtesy rather than for specific action.  

Ocean City Winery, seeking to establish a commercial farm in Beesley’s Point, had submitted a revised application, which Colin Bell, an attorney representing the winery, told The Press of Atlantic City is expected to be heard by the Cape May County Agricultural Development Board at its Feb. 27 meeting.
