SEA ISLE CITY – Mayor Leonard Desiderio reported to Sea Isle City Council, at its Jan. 24 meeting, that, according to the latest update report from the state Department of Environmental Protection, the resort’s beach replenishment will proceed as anticipated, with bid advertisement in April and a contract award in June.
The exact timing will be confirmed once an award has been made.
Desiderio gave his assurances “that Sea Isle’s beaches will be in the best shape possible for the coming season.”
