WILLIAMS, MICHAEL R.

WILLIAMS, MICHAEL R.
Michael R. Williams, 64, Villas, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, January 26th with his loving wife of almost 31 years, Jill, by his side. He fought a courageous fight for over 7 years battling many different types of cancer.
Born October 31, 1960 in Norfolk VA, he was the son of Joseph and Wylie (Gray) Williams, both still survive him.
He graduated from Cape May Vo-Tech and began a career as a long line fisherman at the age of 18. He then went on to work as a boat builder and became the Manager of Yank's Marina for 30years. Known as “Hippy” to those at the boatyard, he was the guy that everyone wanted to work on their boats. He was trusted by many, including the Army Corp of Engineers.
Mike would give and do anything for anyone as long as they did right by him. He was a generous and kind hearted man who would give the shirt off his back.
Michael will be forever missed by his wife of almost 30 years, Jill; parents Joseph and Wylie; daughter Katelynn Williams and her significant other Kai; stepson Michael Eger and wife Alysha; granddaughter Millie Rose; brother Joseph Farrow and wife Josie; sisters RoseAnne Nash and Angel Shafer wife of Mark; nephews Ethan Farrow and Jonathan Nash; niece Jennifer Paddock and his special friends whom he considered family Blair and Donna Hansen and Michael Tilsner. He was preceded in death by his biological father Royce Fulcher.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Friday, February 7th at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May from 1:30 until 3PM. Services will begin at 3PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
