Wildwood Waddlers Wanted

The first baby to waddle or toddle to the edge of the parachute is the winner of this annual tradition.

The Wildwood Civic Club is pleased to announce the Wildwoods Loves Waddler’s Contest at the Wildwoods Convention Center Grassy Circle, Tuesday, July 30 and takes place on a large colorful parachute.

Registration begins at 9 to 9:30 a.m. There are two categories: The Waddle is open to all infants 24 months and younger and begins at 9:30. The Crawl is open to all infants 15 months and younger. The first youngster to waddle or crawl to the waiting parent at the edge of the parachute is declared the winner. Winners will receive a special grand prize package. The contest is free and the first 40 entries receive a special gift.

A celebratory luncheon will be held at Adam’s Restaurant on the Boardwalk following the Waddle where Queen Oceania will be introduced. Admission: $25 per person.
