WIGGS, BRENDA JOYCE
Brenda Joyce Wiggs, 67, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024.
Brenda was born in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Howard and Hannah Corson Palmer. She grew up in North Wildwood, New Jersey and graduated from Wildwood High School. She married Robert Alan Wiggs in the city of Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey, on June 27, 1975. Brenda was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed Bible study, reading Christian Amish novels, counted cross stitch, and helping with Awana Club at Topeka Bible Church.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Alan Wiggs; daughter, Joy Bailes (Jacin); daughter-in-law, Amy Wiggs; grandchildren, Ronin and Kolsen Wiggs and Jacob, Jonathan and Joshua Bailes; siblings, Mayhugh Tees (Michael), Thomas Palmer (Karyl) and William Palmer (Nina); and many nieces and nephews she kept in close contact with. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Wiggs, parents, siblings, Howard “Putt” Palmer, Jr. and MaryLou Stump (Russ).
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606.
