To the Editor:
So, Mr. Trump on Easter Sunday made the statement that he is bringing religion and God back to our country. Then he skipped church and played golf. How can he even say this when he is cutting Head Start programs, school lunch programs, Medicaid, food programs for food banks?
Children, elderly, handicapped, low-income and middle-class people and families are going to suffer. He has individuals in positions where they are putting our military in danger and putting our country in danger. Veterans are losing programs that help them.
Innocent people are being rounded up like cattle and shipped to horrible prisons. Homeless people are being targeted. Housing programs to help low-income people are ending. Hard-working, competent people are losing their jobs and their 401ks, while his millionaire buddies are buying up stocks and making even more money.
Where is God in all of this? Programs to help people here and all over the world are being taken away. Prices continue to rise, making it even harder to provide groceries for families.
God is LOVE. I see no love in this administration. There has been nothing but chaos, unfairness, greed, privilege and benefits to the rich.
