WANNEN, CARL L., JR.
Carl L. Wannen, Jr., 87 of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away December 10, 2024. He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Carl and Margaret (formerly Frey) Wannen, Sr. Carl went to Military School for 6 years before attending The College of William & Mary, University of Maryland Law School, and University of Baltimore for his Certified Public Accountant Certification.
Carl was a great tennis player, loved golf with his many golfing buddies, an excellent Bridge player, and sang in the Angeles Chorus of Cape May County. He was famous for his wonderful cheesecakes that he made and gave out at Christmastime.
Carl is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne; daughter Carrie of Cape May Court House and son Benjamin of Dallas, TX; and granddaughters Erin and Emily. He was predeceased by his son Carl Wannen III in 2022. Services are private.
