Joann Garofolo Vitola has found her way to her final resting with our Lord on December 21, 2024. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Michael Vitola and two sons, Michael Jr. and Sara, also Joseph and Donna, stepdaughter, Amber Vitola and 7 grandchildren.
Joann grew up and went to school in Teaneck, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her parents, Marco and Phyllis Garofolo and twin brothers, Marco and Mario. Survived by her sisters, Jeanne, Rosie, Andrea, and Maria, and brother Vincent and their families. Joann worked at Flacco market in No. Wildwood for 15 years as a cashier. Her greatest joy in life was her sons and grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Friday, January 3rd at the Parish of Notre Dame De La Mer Church of St. Ann, 2901 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood, NJ. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10am until the time of mass. Interment will be held at St. Mary's RC Cemetery, Cape May.
