To the Editor:
I cannot let Ralph Johnson’s Trump is Hitler letter go unanswered. Like him I, too, read “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich,” and even was in touch with Truman Smith, cited in that book who witnessed the actual rise of Hitler. Most Germans I talked to said their choice was between Hitler, who murdered 5 million people, or the Communists, who murdered easily 20 million.
Other than the tongue in cheek comments of Trump that the left seizes upon as who Trump is, when there was no evidence he was a Hitler as president, unlike Biden’s bureaucracy, which actually behaved like a dictatorship trying to put Trump in jail. However, for the sake of the nation’s survival, I see Trump as the lesser evil come November.
