To the editor:
I agree with Ms. Linn’s letter of Jan. 8 regarding the importance of the press. In addition to the reasons given, I look upon the Herald in the same way I view a close friend. A friend listens to you and loyally stands by you during good times and difficult times.
The Herald has been here for us, the citizens of Cape May, informing us of critical issues concerning everyone. It has given us the knowledge to make wise decisions on issues impacting our community and its future.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the Herald and its staff!
We need to support it to ensure its and our success for years to come.
