SWAN, HELEN C. Helen C. Swan 85, of West Cape May passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023. Helen graduated from Middle Township High School and later earned her LPN credentials from Cape May Technical Institute. She dedicated many years of her life to providing private nursing care. Helen's interests were as varied as they were numerous. She loved family gatherings and trips, particularly those to Lancaster, PA. She had a fondness for cats and took great joy in gift-giving. Helen also enjoyed "Rammin" (simply driving around with Pop). In her younger years, she loved camping, fishing, riding the motorcycle with Pop, and going to the beach. She had an elaborate assortment of collectables, each piece a testament to her unique taste and love for life's little treasures. Helen was an active member of "TOPS" (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), where she enjoyed the camaraderie and support of her fellow members. Helen was predeceased by her husband, William E. Swan, Sr., her daughter, Terri Lynn Swan, and brother-in-law, Howard Lloyd. She is dearly missed and forever loved by her family which includes her two sons, Bill (and Karen) Swan and Russell "Kelly" (and Benji) Swan; one sister, Mildred Lloyd; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Helen's viewing will take place on Monday (Oct. 23rd) from 10am until 11am in the Spilker Funeral Home, Cape May. Her celebration of life ceremony will begin at 11am.
