WILMER TAYLOR
Wilmer Taylor Streaker “Unkie”, 92, of North Cape May, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025. Wilmer was born and raised in Anglesea, NJ. He worked at Streaker's Fish Market in North Wildwood owned by his grandfather, as well as at Olsen's Boatyard next to Mace's Pier in Anglesea, where local fishing boats were built. He served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.
Wilmer worked for many years at Snow's Canning Co. on the Enoch F Snow and later on the Susan Marie. When he retired from the commercial clamming industry, he was employed by the Morey Organization as a painter. Wilmer loved spending time with his family and longtime companion Pat Palmer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
Wilmer will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered; his strength will live on with his family.

Wilmer is survived by his children Ellie Streaker (Mary), Jean M. Golden (Ronnie), and Wilmer “Will” Streaker, Jr. (Dawn); his grandchildren Ron Golden, III and Liz Golden; and a niece and many nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilmer and Alice Conley Streaker; and his siblings William Streaker, Jane Anderson, Alyce Hickman, Cora Malewicz, and Edna May Tretter.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial donations may be made to the Cape May Fisherman's Memorial, 643 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ 08204.
