Stone Harbor Police Seeking Suspect in Burglaries of Businesses

STONE HARBOR – The Stone Harbor Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in attempting to identify a person of interest in multiple burglaries of businesses during the early morning hours of Monday, March 11.

Police provided two photos of the suspect, who is shown riding a bicycle, wearing a light-colored, hooded sweatshirt.

The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce alerted its members to the occurrence.

Stone Harbor Police Chief Thomas Schutta asks anyone with information regarding the identity of this person to contact Stone Harbor Police detectives at 609-368-1455. Callers can also assist anonymously by contacting the Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 609-465-2800 or texting the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office tip411 system (847411 and put CMCSO in the field).
