SINGER, SHARON DAWN

SINGER, SHARON DAWN (KOSKI) Sharon Dawn (Koski) Singer, of Rio Grande, NJ, died peacefully at home on January 16, 2024, with her devoted husband, Al, by her side. Sharon was born on July 16, 1947. The youngest daughter of Leona and Edward Koski, she was raised in Marquette, Michigan. Sharon was a 1965 graduate of Marquette High School, and later studied medical transcription, a field she worked in for twenty-five years at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. She later worked as a Calvin Klein representative at Nordstrom's Department Store in Ridgewood. She was a loving and caring person who had a passion for animals and caring for others. She met the love of her life, Al Singer, in 1967 while he was stationed at the USAFB, Marquette, MI. They married on March 29, 1968 and celebrated nearly fifty-five years happily together. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Al, their daughter Jill (Corbo) Singer, and her cherished granddaughters, Jaclyn Corbo and Bianca Corbo, of Hawthorne, NJ. She is predeceased by her parents, and her older sister Judy (Jasper), of Marquette, MI. Graveside services were held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.
