SIITONEN, BARBARA M.
Barbara May Siitonen, 81 of Sea Isle City, NJ passed away August 28, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Angelo and Concetta Giacobbe and raised in Laurel Springs, NJ.
Barbara lived and raised her family in Voorhees, NJ. She moved to Cape May County in 2013 after living for a time in Milford, CT.
Barbara worked as a Medical Assistant and was a member of St. Joseph Church.
Most important to Barbara was the time with her family; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Barbara had a big heart and a candid honesty about her. She also loved food, especially cooking and baking for her family.
Barbara is survived by her husband Robert; her sons: Todd and Jason (Jenn) Siitonen; sister MaryJane (Joseph) Marsh; grandchildren: Tyler, Aiden, Olivia, and Emily; nephews Michael (Lisa) and Bob (Debbie) Marsh; as well as many beloved cousins.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Suzanne Giacobbe and nephews Jersey Joe Marsh and Little Joey Marsh.
Services will be Friday, September 6, 2024 at St. Joseph Church, 43rd Street and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Visitation will be 10 to 10:45 a.m. Mass will begin at 11 a.m.
