Obituary

SICILIANO, DOLORES MARIE

SICILIANO, DOLORES MARIE Dolores Marie (Colarossi) Siciliano, Dec 11, 1930, May 4, 2024. Dolores passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a brief illness at the young age of 93 yrs old. She was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Marconi) Colarossi and wife of the late Albert T. Siciliano. Dolores was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to her family. She was the ultimate caregiver, she cared for her mother, relatives that were ill, her husband prior to his passing, and anyone who needed assistance going through a difficult time and she also maintained boundaries as to not be taken advantage of. Dolores was a homemaker early in her marriage and then as her children grew up, she began working in customer service. After that job she went into sales and then ended her working career at the young age of 85, where she was cooking meals for the nuns at Cardinal O'Hara. Dolores had a strong Catholic faith, and we believe it is what got her through some of the difficult times in her life. She is survived by her sister Yvonne Mazzola, her adoring children John and Jen Siciliano, Leslie (the late Mark) Sims, Anne (the late Doug) Albright, and Mary and Rob Toomey. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchilden and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandson and one great-granddaughter. Dolores had a special relationship with her nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Prior to her illness, Dolores enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and cooking meals for the family. She was a generous woman and never expected anything in return. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at St. Dorothy's Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, on Saturday, May 11th at 9:00 am-10:15 am. A funeral mass will immediately be following at 10:30 am. Christian Burial at St. Peter and Paul's to follow. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Dorothy's Church 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 in her memory.
