Scholarship Available for Music and Performing Arts Students

From the John Walter Band

The John Walter Cape Community Band (JWCCB) has long been committed to nurturing musical talent of young musicians. Each year, with its scholarship program tailored for musicians who are graduating high school, students receive financial support for their continuing education. The JWCCB is happy to announce that applications are being accepted for its 2024 Scholarship Program for deserving students living in Cape May County presently involved in any music or performing arts discipline.

The program is open to graduating high school students residing in Cape May County who have a minimum of a “C” average. As the melody of possibility fills the air, students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. Interested students can get a copy of the Scholarship Guidelines and Application from their performing arts teacher or Guidance Counselor, visit the JWCCB website at johnwalterband.org, or call 609-827- 0308 to receive a copy via email. Applications must be received on or before May 17, 2024.

Cape May County provides the perfect backdrop for nurturing creativity and fostering excellence in the world of music.
