Michael Richard Scheeler, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Ocean View, New Jersey, on July 10, 2025.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family. He shared 43 loving years of marriage with his wife, Bonnie, who stood beside him through life's many adventures.
A proud father, Mike is survived by his three children: Jessica and her husband Joe, with their children Lucas, Finn, and Elizabeth; Allison and her husband Brewer, with their children Jameson and Margaux; and his beloved first son, Erik, whose presence brought Mike immeasurable pride and joy.
Mike had an unwavering passion for the outdoors.
Whether he was casting a line into the water, walking quietly through the woods on a hunt, or tending to his garden with hands that could make anything grow, nature was his sanctuary. His green thumb was legendary among those who knew him a gift he nurtured and shared with many.
