SCHAEFER, KATHRYN MABLE EISELE

SCHAEFER, KATHRYN MABLE EISELE Kathryn Mabel Eisele Schaefer of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on January 29, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Kathryn (McCoy) and Anthony Eisele. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. Immediately after high school, she started her career with the then known as Bell of PA and now known as Verizon for 33 years, working her way up from clerk to manager. She joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1956 to 1967. She met her late husband Russell Schaefer at the Dutch Helwig M.C.L. and they were married for 31 years. Moving to Cape May Court House in 2005, she became the Treasurer of the Cape May County Chapter of Little Flower High School Alumnae. She was also an active member of the Marine Corps League 676 Dramis Detachment. Survived by her sister Peggy Zemaitaitis of Cape May Court House and brothers Tony Eisele and Jim Eisele, both of Florida. Her family also includes stepchildren Jeanne Cording, Russell D. Schaefer and his wife Patricia. She leaves 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. In later life, her niece Laura and nephew Frank Wilson became "her Special Angels". Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at a later date.
