RUBINS, STEPHEN S. Stephen S. Rubins, 91, formerly of Wildwood Crest, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, in Jupiter, Florida. Steve was born in Wildwood, New Jersey, and was a longtime resident of the Wildwoods until he and his wife relocated in late 2021 to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He retired from his law practice in 2020. Steve graduated from Wildwood High School, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and a law degree from Harvard Law School. He spent his entire career practicing law in Wildwood, where he was active in the civic and religious communities of the Wildwoods. During his lifetime, he was a solicitor for the City of Wildwood and the Borough of Wildwood Crest. He also was a local Magistrate and a president of Beth Judah Temple. Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Turner, and is survived by his wife, Carole Rubins of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; son Jonathan Rubins (Amy) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; daughter Margie (Jessica) of Brooklyn, New York; and grandchildren Sara, Ben and Miriam.
