March 25, 2020 – 5:30 p.m.

 

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et. Seq., public meetings may be held in person or by means of communication equipment, N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b), to include streaming services and other online meeting platforms.  All meetings, including those held with communications equipment, must be noticed in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Act, unless the meeting is for emergent circumstances and held in a manner consistent with the requirements set forth at N.J.S.A. 10:4-9(b). 

 

The State of New Jersey, 219th Legislature, introduced and signed into law Senate No. 2294 bill on March 16, 2020. This bill takes effect immediately and allows public bodies to conduct meetings, and provide notice, by electronic means during periods of emergency. Therefore, the Board of Commissioners meeting will still take place.

 

There are three options for the March 25, 2020

Commission Meeting at 5:30 p.m.:

 

The meeting will no longer be open to the public in accordance with Executive Order No. 104. The meeting will be streamed via YouTube and it will be available by dial in.

Also, please note that there is a ROSI Amendment Hearing scheduled. Commentary is welcome at the time of meeting and written comments are welcome up to two weeks after the hearing date of March 25, 2020.
