RESOLUTIONS

  1. Honoring Shoprite Partners in Caring and the Marmora Shoprite Associates for their fight against hunger.

 

  1. Authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to sign renewal agreements with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey for Medical and Prescription Insurance.
  1. Appointing Carol Marcolongo as a part-time employee in the office of the Municipal Court.
  1. Appointing an Official to bid at the Tax Sale scheduled for October 3, 2017.
  1. Cancel Municipal Tax Lien on Block 683, Lot 7.
  1. Certification of costs for abatement of nuisance on Block 653.01, Lot 4.

 

  1. Appointing Louis M. Belasco, CTA to act as Tax Assessor for matters in which the regular Township Tax Assessor may have a conflict of interest.

 

  1. Authorizing the Upper Township Fall Fest and Pumpkin Run Car Show to be held on November 4, 2017 at Amanda’s Field and setting the admission, vendor, and participant fees.

 

  1. Authorizing the Mayor and Township Clerk to sign a contract with Shore Animal Control Services, LLC for Animal Control Services in Upper Township.

 

  1. Authorizing a contract with Atlantic Investigations, LLC for an alcohol and controlled substances training and testing program.

 

  1. Authorizing the purchase of recycling collection equipment and parts and for the Chief Financial Officer to withdraw funds in the amount of $27,402.00 from the account entitled Recycling Trust Account for such purposes.

  1. Public hearing and final adoption of Ordinance No. 011-2017 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 017-2016 KNOWN AS THE SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2017.
  1. Public hearing and final adoption of Ordinance No. 012-2017 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXVI OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER WHICH ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR THE USE OF TOWNSHIP FACILITIES.
