  1. Presentation by Nominees to fill the vacancy on the Township Committee.

 

RESOLUTIONS

  1. Appointing Nominee to fill the vacancy on the Township Committee.

3.      Re-appointing Janet McCrosson as Municipal Court Administrator, on an interim basis, for a term of one year effective December 1, 2016.

 

  1. Supporting a “No Passing Zone” along New Jersey State Highway Route 50 between Mile Posts 1.9 and 2.8.
  1. Setting the date and time of the 2017 Reorganization Meeting of the Township of Upper.
  1. Authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to sign an agreement with New Horizon Communications Corp. for POTS Telephone Services.
  1. Withdrawing prior authorization to purchase a Trailer Mounted Vacuum Debris Collector through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) National Cooperative Contract.
  1. Authorizing the Township Engineer to submit an application to the New Jersey Department of Transportation for the Local Bicycle/Pedestrian Planning Assistance Program.
  1. Authorizing the execution of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Township of Upper and Council 71, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), AFL-CIO for the term January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017.
  1. Directing the distribution of the Township of Upper’s net returned surplus funds held in trust by the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund.
  1. Authorizing the execution of NJDEP TWA-1 Application Statements of Consent form regarding 113 W. Putnam Avenue, Strathmere, Block 827, Lot 1.
  1. Authorizing the award of a contract with Cruzan’s Truck Service, Inc. for automotive repair services and supplies.
  1. Budget Transfers.

 

  1. Refund EMS ambulance billing overpayment to UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company.
  1. Authorizing the Mayor to sign the recertification of the Emergency Operating Plan for the Township of Upper.
  1. Authorizing an extension of the agreements with OceanFirst Bank, formerly Cape Bank, with regard to banking services.

  1. Introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 015-2016 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCE CHAPTER II (ADMINISTRATION) OF THE CODE OF UPPER TOWNSHIP.

 

  1. Introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 016-2016 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 015-2015 KNOWN AS THE SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2016.
