RESOLUTIONS

  1. Congratulating employee Karen Buchanan of the Upper Township Clerks Department for her winning entry in the Upper Township Safety Award Program for the 1st quarter of 2018.
  1. In support of an Upper Township Historical Preservation Society Museum located within the Village of Tuckahoe at 1788 Tuckahoe-Mt. Pleasant Road Township of Upper, County of Cape May, New Jersey.
  1. Authorizing a contract with W. Michael Bailey for Public Safety Communications Services.
  1. Authorizing a contract with J.A. Montgomery Risk Control for Right to Know Inventory and Survey Preparation Services.
  1. Authorizing Institution of In Rem Foreclosure proceedings Group No. 154.
  1. Urging the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to extend the Increased Cost of Compliance (ICC) coverage as part of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
  1. Authorizing the Township of Upper to enter into a property access agreement with the New Jersey Department of Transportation and execute a well permit for the property known as Block 477, Lot 20 so as to permit remedial investigation of groundwater related to the New Jersey State’s Petersburg Maintenance Facility.

 

  1. Authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to withdraw funds in the amount of $1,800.00 from the account entitled Recycling Trust Account to pay for recycling collection supplies.
  1. Authorizing the Mayor and Township Clerk to sign a contract with Ancero, LLC for professional information technology services.
  1. Authorizing the disposal of personal property with no market value.
  1. Appointing the 2018 Season Beach Patrol Personnel.
  1. Approving the application of the Upper Township Rescue Squad for Highway Coin Drops.

 

  1. Authorizing an affiliation and medical direction agreement with the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for basic life support and ambulance services.

  1. Public Hearing and final adoption of Ordinance No. 004-2018 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4-3.2 OF CHAPTER IV OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF UPPER TOWNSHIP WITH RESPECT TO JITNEY LICENSING REQUIREMENTS.
  1. Introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 005-2018 RE: TRANSFER TOWNSHIP OWNED LAND TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY.
