2017 BUDGET – CAP Ordinance and Budget Introduction
 

  1. Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance No. 004-2017, RE:  CALENDAR YEAR 2017 ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK (N.J.S.A. 40A: 4-45.14).              
  1. Introduction of 2017 Budget. 

 

RESOLUTIONS

  1. Honoring Matthew William Holmes on attaining the designation of “Eagle Scout”.
  1. Designating March 12, 2017 as “Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery Day” in Upper Township.
  1. Designating March 19 through March 25, 2017 as “National Poison Prevention Week” in Upper Township.
  1. Designating May 14 through May 20, 2017 as “Food Allergy Awareness Week” in Upper Township.
  1. Appointing Thomas G. Smith, Esquire to act as Special Legal Counsel regarding Tax Court matters and matters in which the regular Township Solicitor may have a conflict of interest.
  1. Appointing Douglas K. Walker to serve as an additional Municipal Public Defender on an as needed basis.
  1. Authorizing the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display.
  1. Authorizing the award of a contract with U.S. Municipal Supply, Inc. for automotive parts and supplies.
  1. Authorizing the Mayor and Township Clerk to sign a contract with James M. Rutala Associates, LLC for professional grant writing consultant services.
  1. Refund EMS ambulance billing overpayment to UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company.
  1. Authorizing a payment from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund of Upper Township.

 

  1. Amending Resolution No. 012-2017 that appoints various officers and employees to annual and specified terms.
  1. Tax Refund, Block 677 Lot 11.
  1. Appointing members to the Upper Township Economic Development Advisory Commission.
  1. Authorizing institution of In Rem Foreclosure Proceedings Group No. 153.

           

  1. Authorizing the purchase of certain items from the 2013 and 2016 Capital Improvement Bond Ordinances in an amount not to exceed $23,400.00.
