- Congratulating the Upper Township Hockey Team, Upper Riptide – Red, on becoming the 2016 Cape May County 5th To 8th Grade Roller Division Champions.
RESOLUTIONS
- Honoring Teri Smuz on receiving recognition from the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund for her tenure as Fund Commission Chair.
- Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund.
- Appointing Randolph C. Lafferty to serve as an Additional Municipal Prosecutor on an as needed basis.
- Appointing Keith A. Bonchi, Attorney at Law and the Law Offices of GMS Law as Special Legal Counsel to complete certain In Rem Foreclosure matters.
- Declaring the Gypsy Moth a public nuisance and public hearing.
- Authorizing the Township of Upper to enter into a contract with Better Hearing, Inc. to provide hearing examinations.
- Approving the application of the Marmora Volunteer Fire Co. for highway coin drops.
- Authorizing the Mayor to sign and submit a Municipal Aid Grant application for Fiscal Year 2017.
- Supporting Senate Bill S-211 and Assembly Bill A-3798 authorizing use of school bus stop arm cameras.
- Authorizing building and electrical permit fee refunds to Trinity Solar for 506 Grant Avenue in Upper Township.
- Authorizing a payment from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund of Upper Township.
- Canceling Taxes on Exempt Property Block 331, Lot 6.
- Authorizing the Mayor and/or Municipal Engineer to sign and submit an application to the NJDEP for the replacement of Webster Avenue Bulkhead pursuant to NJDEP rules.
- Authorizing the payment of a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection permit fee for the Reconstruction of Webster Avenue Bulkhead from the 2016 Capital Improvement Bond Ordinance.
