RESOLUTIONS

 

  1. Congratulating the Upper Township Girls Softball Major Division team on becoming the 2017 Little League Girls Softball Major Division New Jersey District 16 Champions.
  1. Recognizing Cape Regional Medical Center for their generous contribution toward the Upper Township annual 4th of July celebration.
  1. Recognizing Shawna Mulford as the Special Event Coordinator for the Upper Township 4th of July celebration.
  1. Authorizing Change Order No. 2 for the 2016 Paving Contract with respect to work paid for by the Upper Township School District resulting in an increase in the amount of $25,483.00.
  1. Renewing Echo Farms Campground License.
  1. Releasing the Maintenance Guaranty of Thomas T. Tower for the Major Subdivision known as Advantage Drive.
  1. Authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to withdraw funds in the amount of $507.24 from the account entitled Recycling Trust Account to pay for recycling collection supplies.
  1. Authorizing a contract with TAG Consulting Group for the preparation and maintenance of the Township’s Fixed Assets Accounting and Reporting System.
  1. Appointing Theodore F. Cooper, Jr. as a temporary employee to the Upper Township Construction Code Office to serve as Construction Official and Building Subcode Official on an as needed basis.
  1. Appointing James A. Cotton as a temporary employee to the Upper Township Construction Code Office to serve as Plumbing Subcode Official on an as needed basis.
  1. Appointing William Hoffmann as a temporary employee to the Upper Township Construction Code Office to serve as Fire Protection Subcode Official on an as needed basis.
  1. Appointing Theodore F. Cooper, Jr. as a full-time employee to the Upper Township Construction Code Office to serve as the Construction Official and Building Subcode Official.
  1. Canceling Taxes on exempt property Block 450, Lot 3.
  1. Tax Refund for Block 723, Lot 6; Block 567, Lot 45.09; Block 667, Lot 7; Block 687, Lot 14; and Block 567, Lot 18.09.
  1. Authorizing the Township of Upper to accept the transfer of a surplus vehicle from the County of Cape May.
  1. Appointing the 2017 Season Beach Patrol Personnel contingent upon background clearance.

 

  1. Authorizing the purchase of certain items from the 2016 Capital Improvement Bond Ordinance in the amount of $14,980.94.

 

  1. Authorizing participation in the South Jersey Power Cooperative for Electric Service.
  1. Authorizing the purchase of a 2018 Freightliner 108sd 70 Dump Truck in the amount of $142,044.00 through the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) National Cooperative Contract with funds from the 2016 Capital Improvement Bond Ordinance and the 2017 Road Repairs and Maintenance Operating Expenses budgetary line.

  1. Introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 011-2017 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 017-2016 KNOWN AS THE SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2017.
  1. Introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 012-2017 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXVI OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER WHICH ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR THE USE OF TOWNSHIP FACILITIES.
