Honoring Thomas Castaldi on attaining the designation of “Eagle Scout”.

RESOLUTIONS

Authorizing the release of a Performance Surety Bond of Tuckahoe DG, LLC, for the Development known as “Dollar General”, at 1435 and 1437 Route 50, Block 348, Lots 94.15 and 94.16.

Authorizing the Township to submit a grant application to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

Authorizing the execution of a NJDEP TWA-1 Application Statements of Consent form regarding 805 S. Commonwealth Avenue, Strathmere, Block 823, Lot 1.

Appointing Judge Vincent J. Morrison to serve as temporary Municipal Judge on an as needed basis.

Appointing the 2018 Season Beach Patrol Personnel contingent upon background clearance.

Appointment of Richard Mashura to the Upper Township Zoning Board of  1

Adjustment.

Authorizing the Mayor and Township Clerk to sign a contract with Shore Animal Control Services, LLC for Animal Control Services in Upper Township.

Appointing Ruderman, Horn & Esmerado, P.C. and Mark S. Ruderman, Esquire to act as Special Legal Counsel in Employment and Labor Law Matters.

Amending Resolution No. 219-2018 that appointed Lawrence C. Cole as MAC Coordinator of the Upper Township-Ocean City Municipal Alliance Committee (MAC).

Authorizing the use of Tyler Davis Field at the Amanda’s Field Recreation Facility by Jersey Premier, LLC dba Global Premier Soccer and Neil Hallowayfor soccer games and practices.

ORDINANCES

Public hearing and final adoption of Ordinance No. 011-2018 RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCE CHAPTER XX (ZONING) OF THE CODE OF UPPER TOWNSHIP.

Introduction and first reading ofORDINANCE NO. 012-2018

BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER, IN THE COUNTY OF CAPE MAY, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING $3,238,500 THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $3,076,575 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF.

Thomas Maloney request permission to place drainage pipes on property at 69 Somers Avenue, Ocean View, NJ 08230.

 M-Fit request to hold a Fund Raiser Volleyball Game for Peyton’s Promise on Strathmere Williams Avenue Beach on September 16, 2018. Request Township committee to waive fees since it is a fund raiser for a non-profit to feed the hungry.
