Young People Have Little Hope

By Denise Miller, West Cape May

To the Editor:
Danielle Davies and Gregory Wall support the development of local small businesses which are essential for the local economy. Our young people have little hope for success in a county that depends largely on tourism.
Without them, we lose the vibrancy of youth as well as their fresh point of view. We send them to college and vocational schools and then strand them without jobs.
There are numerous possibilities for small businesses in our county, including clean energy. In addition, the infrastructure is in serious need of repair. The population over 65 is the only segment that is growing and they will need specialized services as well.
The potential is there.
