To the Editor:
Cape May Airport is currently undergoing construction to rehabilitate a decommissioned 3,200-foot runway. It’s great to see that new improvements and upgrades are taking place at the Lower Twp. site.
One question is why is the contractor doing this work from Ocean County? Surely there are qualified contractors down here in Cape May County who not only could perform the construction but add much needed jobs for local citizens!
We all know the job market down here is lacking, and new construction jobs would be welcomed by us, locals. Once again, federal dollars paying for a project goes to North Jersey contractors.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
