To the Editor:
Trump’s itching to start a war, even though we’ve been at war for 13 years in Afghanistan. Bear in mind, we lost 56,000 troops (human beings) in Vietnam, 5,000 Americans, and 100,000-plus Iraqis in the Iraq war based on lies.
Trump hired three generals: Mattis, McMaster, and Kelly. Two of these guys will soon be gone, and God forbid, not the defense secretary.
Recently, Trump named Pompeo as secretary of state. Last year, this guy was a lonely congressman from Kansas. He’s a right-wing extremist and a West Point graduate. Therefore, he fits right in with Trump.
The latest appointment is John Bolton, who got no further than the United Nations as a recess appointment years ago.
This administration’s future will include war when the next crisis arises with Trump, or Mueller gets too close and the narrative has to be shifted. Perhaps the target will be either North Korea or Iran.
The problem with war is everybody loses. Will it be necessary? Why must it happen? This time around, we can lose our country because the voters in 2016 took a gamble on what Mitt Romney called a charlatan.
If we’re going this route, the American people better be aware of what’s happening. So many heads are locked in the sand.
We didn’t have enough of the Boltons, Cheney, Rumsfelds, and the others in Iraq? Here we go again; results will be the same, or worse.
You’re going to find out when the blunders accelerate and one day ruin our once great country. Make America real again.
Will God continue to bless America while continuing to witness a crackpot operation? Amen.
Cape May – The number one reason I didn’t vote for Donald Trump was January 6th and I found it incredibly sad that so many Americans turned their back on what happened that day when voting. I respect that the…
