Wants Justice for Boardwalk Attack

By Rampolla

To The Editor:
I want to thank the Herald for publishing my Spout Off. For the first time I feel like I am getting somewhere.
My two grandsons were walking on the boardwalk on their way home when they were attacked by five grown men. The oldest one was seriously hurt and required surgery. He had 11 factures to his face. He now has plates in his face from his jaw all the way up to his eye socket. He will never look the same. The doctors said they did all that they could.
I wish I could say the same thing about the Wildwood Police Department. They did not take this seriously, and we did not get any help from them at all. I want the people of this town along with business owners all to ask why. They say it is a waste of time; whose time are they talking about? This is what they get paid for. We want to find these guys and have justice done.
My grandson has over $100,000 in medical bills and he is only 21 years old. Why did the police not care enough to even try? I am sure if this happened to one of their family members, it would all be resolved and justice done. Please help us get justice.
