Dr. Judith Coche’s Op-ed in the Aug. 31 Herald stated … and I quote, “A woman president will help demonstrate to the rest of the planet, that women can lead.”
Has Dr. Coche never heard of Margaret Thatcher, prime minister, United Kingdom, Golda Meir, prime minister, Israel, Indira Gandhi, prime minister, India, or Angela Markel, chancellor, Germany, or Mary Barra, CEO, General Motors, Virginia Rometty, CEO, IBM, Ursula Burns, CEO, Xerox, or Indra Nooyi, CEO, PepsiCo?
Base your vote on who you think will do the best for our country, not based on the candidate’s gender.
