To the Editor:
In my opinion, America has lost its national identity.
We have become full of “cyber citizens”, “Wile E. Coyotes”, and “super geniuses” due to modern technology, and a lack of balanced education while abandoning all foundational acumen.
The true national American culture is more than a “melting pot” of factional ethnicities, in a much larger sense; to be a true American is not ethnic, religious, or a legal quality.
To be a true American is to follow a code of conduct that is earned while building a future of individual happiness which includes all Americans who practice “the golden rule” in a republic of grace.
The symbols we the people rally around have not lost any luster or weight of character and can’t be reflected on paper or cloth alone. But, by courageous conviction and positive purpose, carved out by blood and bone, sacrifice and solemn tone.
To be a true American is to defend and live joyously free in a “city on a hill” to shine light into the lives of all mankind.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
