To a Villas Spouter

Letters to the Editor 2019

By Joyce O'Quin, Villas

To the Editor:

This letter is in response to the spouter from the Villas regarding the “Lower Township Fire Department” showing up at “a store” to put out an electrical fire “twice.”

Had you notified me “in person” that this bothered you so much, I would have explained to you “in person” that we never planned these fires!

The first one was repaired that very night and we were assured all was good by the service company. We never expected the second unit to break down, or I certainly would have stopped it!

I thank God for our “Villas Fire Department.” They were on scene, yes, twice, in minutes, as I’m sure you would want them to be for you. And you must have missed the many Lower Township police and volunteers who came to our assistance in this near disaster!

My name is Joyce O’quin and I am an owner of Villas Liquor Store!
